Adding a shower filter to your bathroom is a great way to reduce chlorine, which can cause asthma, attacks. The chlorine that is used in municipal water supplies when heated causes chlorine gas. Not a good thing to breathe in to say the least. There are several other reasons to use a shower filter. Since they eliminate most of the chlorine and chemicals from the water, taking a shower with clean chlorine free water has a wonderful therapeutic effect on your skin and hair.
We choose the Aqusana AQ-4100 shower filter. Connecting it was super simple. All we did was grab a pair of pliers and unscrew the existing showerhead and then hand tightened the new shower filter back on. Included with the new filter is an adjustable massager head already attached. After that you let it run for a minute or so with cold water and you are in business! After a few days of chlorine free showers my wife commented how nice her skin felt and she also noticed her hair being nice and shiny.
