I’ve always been a pushover for princess stories, anything that involved a fair maiden, a handsome guy on a horse, a castle, live in wait staff, the life I was meant to lead. But alas, I am 34, single, never married, and live in a small bungalow. I am a weekend warrior in what I affectionately refer to as my flower garden but haven’t been able to capture the feeling I want it to have. And then, I purchased a Lattice Arbor which has completely transformed garden, house and me! It was affordable and easy to assemble and oh so pretty.
I’d never really considered looking at arbors; it was only after seeing one in a princess movie with my niece that it dawned on me that perhaps that was what my garden needed. As soon as I set it in place, my flower garden really became a flower garden, in fact it’s positively dripping romance and now everything is coming up roses! A fine fellow I work with, who happens to be pretty cute (I don’t know if he has a horse) asked me to go to dinner this weekend so who knows, there just might be a castle in my future after all!
